ABOUT

Our Story

Founded in 2014, St+art India Foundation began with a simple idea: art should be part of everyday life, not limited to galleries and museums. What started with murals in Delhi’s Shahpur Jat has grown into a nationwide movement that brings artists, communities and public spaces together. Through murals, installations, festivals and community-led projects, St+art has transformed streets, neighbourhoods, transit spaces and forgotten corners across India, making contemporary art more accessible while creating new ways for people to connect with their cities.
