WIP: The Street Art Show

The #WIP (Work-in-Progress) Street Art Show reimagined public art in India through an immersive, large-scale exhibition. Hosted at the Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Tughlakabad, New Delhi, the show transformed an industrial site into a space for creative expression. Using 100 shipping containers, it constructed a dynamic walkthrough experience—turning India’s largest dry port, a 55-acre hub with 10,000 daily workers, into an evolving canvas for art and dialogue.

Beyond murals, the space came alive with performances, street battles, live painting, gigs, workshops, and food stalls. By merging industrial infrastructure with artistic experimentation, #WIP created a temporary yet impactful cultural commons—where art, industry, and everyday life intersected, opening up new possibilities for engagement in public space.
