வனம் சூழ் கோவை (Coimbatore Surrounded by Forests)
by Jeeva and Munir
This mural is a tribute to Coimbatore’s natural beauty, depicting a herd of elephants in transit, symbolising the city’s surrounding forests and the frequent wildlife crossings. Painted near a TNSB colony, the mural also highlights themes of movement and coexistence, drawing parallels between animal migration and human resettlement. Jeeva and Munir’s work merges traditional cinema banner aesthetics with contemporary art, celebrating both the beauty of nature and the importance of conservation.
