A4 Art Project

Our cities are cluttered with small paste-ups or home-printed advertisements on easily accessible A4 sheets. From ‘PG for BOYS’, ‘WORK FROM HOME ’, to several others, one is constantly bombarded by them.

A4 Art Project was a small experiment done during Serendipity Arts Festival, with A4-size prints. The project started as a satirical protest against the ‘A4 vandalism ’-the visual language of our urban environment. Through the project, this aspect of the public space is explored with art as a medium for 'vandalism ', adding to the visual noise at the same time questioning it.
