Untitled: Anpu Varkey

Through her piece in the streets of Shahu Nagar, New Delhi-based street artist Anpu wanted to invoke the spirits of mirth and nostalgia. Visually depicting “the urge to plunge without any restraint” Anpu's work is evocative of the inner strength and faith in our abilities that we possessed as children, unhindered. The artist wanted residents in the locality to be reminded of the same feelings and take hope from them.
