Zindagi (Life)

Miami-born artist Axel Void’s mural “Zindagi” on a massive cold storage wall at Azadpur Market, one of Delhi’s largest wholesale markets, serves as a tribute to the market’s labourers. Depicting a still life with a candle, fruits, and a knife, the piece honours the workers who sustain Delhi’s food supply chain, symbolising both the vitality and often-overlooked labour behind the city’s daily life.
